Overview Squeak & Rattle Test Systems

Our Squeak & Rattle test systems support you in the detection, analysis and elimination of buzz, squeak and rattle  noise from the early prevention and development phase to the final inspection in production. Our vehicle shakers for Squeak & Rattle analyses on passenger cars and commercial vehicles and component shakers for various interior components, steering systems and chassis components enable targeted testing and combination of noise-critical driving situations and excitation states. The low operating noise of MB Squeak & Rattle test systems meets the strict requirements of various test specifications such as GMW14011, FORD CETP-L-413, PSA STE9646364399, BMW PR311-4 and Hyundai Engineering Standards and creates ideal conditions for efficient noise analysis. In addition, the reproducible excitation and freely programmable test sequences based on real excitation data enable targeted Squeak & Rattle ageing tests including climate superposition for systematic analysis and evaluation of the acoustic long-term stability of the vehicles and components.

With our full vehicle shaker systems you can get a wide variety of test tracks from all over the world into your testing, QM and production areas. Different excitation states due to different road surfaces, speeds and engines are reproduced absolutely realistic and reproducible at the push of a button.

Extremely quiet shaker tables for sequential and simultaneous excitation of various parts and components in 1 to 6 axes for Squeak & Rattle tests and durability testing. Climate option enables use within environmental chamber from -40°C to +80°C.

Test benches for testing and evaluation of vibrations and noise behaviour of steering gears, steering shafts and steering columns. Reproducible simulation of steering manoeuvres, static and dynamic excitation forces and accelerations.

Our SCTR test bench enables the highly dynamic simulation of real road excitations with superimposed preload forces for comprehensive vibration and noise analysis on a wide variety of suspension components and targeted optimization of the spring/damper system.
