Open Day 2024 with many new products

We are organising an open day on Thursday 11 July 2024 to present new products and test systems. Customers and other interested visitors are invited to our premises in Krefeld. The event will feature demonstrations of new shakers, measurement front ends, modular upgradeable multi-axis shaker tables, and our new 2D tribo-acoustic test bench. You can find the detailed programme for Open Day 2024 here…

New 2D Tribo-Acoustic test bench

The 2D Tribo-Acoustic Test Bench enables the analysis of friction, friction noise and sliding noise, damping properties, abrasion and wear of a wide range of materials on the basis of highly dynamic, real relative motions and normal forces. Stick-slip tests based on specified RANDOM excitation profiles (PSDs, e.g. in accordance with GMW 16321) and tests with constant relative speeds and normal forces (VDA-230-206, FORD CETP01.05) are also possible.

3D Shaker for Excitation in x/y/z

Our compact and quiet 3D shakers allow excitation to be performed in the x, y and z axes. Noise-critical excitation states can be accurately replicated in the laboratory in multiple axes. By adding two additional shakers, simultaneous excitation in x, y and z axes is possible, as well as simultaneous excitation in up to 5 axes in vertical pitch & roll mode.

New 8-Channel Frontend
MB DAQ 8256

The MB DAQ 8256 is an eight-channel data acquisition front-end for high-precision vibration and sound measurements. The universal inputs allow the connection of voltage sensors, IEPE accelerometers, microphones and the acquisition of additional process variables such as temperature, displacement or pressure via current sensors with 4-20 mA output.

Three New ALPHA Mk2 Shaker Models

Three new shaker types, ALPHA 1525Mk2, ALPHA 3025Mk2 and ALPHA 6050Mk2, have been added to the ALPHA MK2 shaker range. These very quiet, water-cooled systems can be used universally for squeak and rattle tests and fatigue tests on a wide range of components. The systems can be used in a climatic chamber with a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C.

BSR Suite 2.3. supports NI- and Audio hardware

In addition to our MB DAQ measurement front-ends, BSR SUITE now supports National Instruments data acquisition cards from the Sound & Vibration series (NI-9234, NI-9231, 9232 …) or other general purpose cards such as 6351/6353. In addition, some high quality audio interfaces with ASIO functionality, such as Teac’s Tascam series, can now be used with BSR Suite.
